Double Quilt

The double quilt is perfect for couples or co-sleepers tramping in New Zealand.  The quilt has a sewn in footbox, and a neck baffle which can be closed using snaps and a drawstring around each person's neck.  The quilt comes with double pad straps to hold two sleeping pads together and to cinch the quilt down tight on a colder night.
 
This is a quilt and not a sleeping bag so it is open on the underside, designed to be used in a hut on a mattress, or on a sleeping pad which will provide insulation from the ground.  The quilt comes with pad straps to allow the quilt to be clipped to the pad to stop drafts or ventilate as required (these straps can be left at home when staying in a hut).
 
The double quilt is suitable for people up to 185cm tall.  I recommend you add 12-15cm to your height if you are a stomach sleeper to make it easier to snuggle up on colder nights.  If these sizings seem a bit short for you, that’s ok, just reach out to me and I can make you something that is the perfect fit!

Note: Limit temperature rating is calculated based on quilt loft, approx comfort rating will depend on how you sleep and the ground insulation you use. The comfort rating is based on an "average" sleeper, if you sleep cold then we recommend choosing a warmer quilt to compensate.
